Your complete guide to poseur table hire

No matter what event it is you are organising poseur table hire may be on your list of ‘things to do’. Whether you are an event professional or just organising a family gathering, then we have put together a guide to try and help you with your poseur table hire needs.

Where to start

Poseur table hire’ might not be a phrase that everyone is used to; they are also often referred to as tall tables or bar tables. Poseur tables are above waist height and are usually used for events where bowl food is served, or in bar areas to create small areas for your guests to mingle. You can also have some fun with your poseur tables by styling them with tablecloths, small centrepieces and sashes so you can really get creative! Unlike banqueting tables, you do not need to allocate seating space for everyone so a few tables should do the trick to allocate for at least half your guests.

Glass poseur table hire

Glass poseur tables are a modern and stylish addition to any event. They are becoming more and more popular in the event industry and most event planners are now turning to these rather than using a basic aluminium poseur table. They are still an affordable option as a mid-range poseur table because many hire companies now supply them, so there is competition in the market to keep costs down. Due to the glass tops they are versatile and work well with any theme and in any type of venue, whether it’s classical or contemporary. Take a look at some of these glass poseur tables.

Creating an atmosphere with LED poseur tables

LED poseur tables are a brilliant way to create atmosphere and they work well in all types of venues and event spaces. In the past we have had clients use them to create an ice bar theme, a disco vibe and much more. LED poseur tables are so versatile and are a great focal piece especially if your event is being held in the evening when they can really stand out.

Things to check with your supplier:

  1. Some LED poseurs are not complete units, and require suppliers to set up on the day.
  2. Not all LED poseur tables are fully portable and need to be located near a plug socket, so speak to your supplier and allocate for this.

Our favourite items to put with these poseurs are ghost stalls or clear acrylic stools, as you can see in the images below they do look magical.
