Spooky set ups – Four frightening furniture events that will make you tremble this Halloween

TEHC Team – Thursday, October 15, 2015

Halloween is the time for sweets, scares and most importantly, those iconic themed Halloween get-togethers attended by the spooky and undead alike. When you host a Halloween party, the décor and furniture hire play a huge part, so we’ve collated a list of five of the greatest Halloween furniture set-ups that we’ve seen to date, complete with unrequited scares and all!

1.13th Gate, Los Angeles, USA

13th Gate

Often regarded as one of the scariest Halloween venues of all time, 13th Gate provides a bone-chilling experience for all its guests. Using graves, candles and a variety of spooky props, visiting the 13th Gate will undoubtedly leave you a changed person by the end of the visit. The combined use of an outdoor and indoor experience with matching furniture leaves guests feeling out of their comfort zones and completely spooked out.

  1. AtmosFear, Preston, UK

AtmosFear’s choice of furniture hire is completely spot on, earning it a well-deserved place in our top five spookiest Halloween set ups. Using predominantly gothic-esque tables, chairs and sofas, the experience involves you and your brain-eating counterparts becoming submersed in the Halloween spirit. The monotone lighting schemes and the use of candles also propel this venue to one of the most terrifying the UK has ever seen.

  1. Front door cemetery, USA

The use of lighting on this event has really caught our eye and the two-tone scheme gives it a haunted appearance that provides an uncomfortable yet adrenaline-pumping atmosphere. The tree blending into the midnight backdrop is a fitting finish to this frightening endeavour.

  1. Wisconsin FearGrounds, Wisconsin, USA

We love Wisconsin FearGrounds’ use of upcycled material in their haunted furniture. As you know, we’re keen lovers of upcycled material and FearGrounds have used creativity and ingenuity to give the impression of age and abandonment.

The FearGrounds also utilise barrels, whisky drums and aged cabinets to provide an atmosphere that guests will remember in their nightmares for quite some time.
